SpaceX shortens rocket launch cycles by launching 2 Falcon rockets in 7 hours

SpaceX once again showed the face of the golden age of commercial space exploration, launching a total of 2 Falcon 9 rockets from the east and west coasts of the United States within 7 hours, one for NASA’s Crew 5 (crew 5) mission, and the other for its own Starlink mission.

Crew 5 (crew 5) is the fifth official manned mission between NASA and SpaceX. Taken off from the Kennedy Space Center LC-39A launch pad on October 5, 2009, and is responsible for sending the crew to the International Space Station for rotation. This time, 20 years later, NASA has once again sent Russian astronauts into space from the United States.

The Crew-5 mission will conduct more than 200 scientific experiments and technology demonstrations over several months, including space-printed organs for heart disease research, and more.

As we look to the sky, let’s not forget that these astronauts are also working hard to improve life on Earth.

7 hours and 10 minutes later, a second Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from the SLC-4E launch pad at Vandenberg Space Force Base for the Starlink 4-29 mission, successfully deploying 52 new Starlink V1.5 satellites.

SpaceX has advertised that SpaceX has launched two Falcon 9 rockets in a row in more than seven hours, almost half the time it last (June) when it launched two rockets in a row in 14 hours and 8 minutes.

And soon, at 7:7 pm ET on October 6, the third Falcon 9 rocket will take off from the LC-40 launch pad at Cape Canavera Space Force Station,

Preparing to put Intelsat’s Galaxy 33 and Galaxy 34 communications satellites into Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO).

The SpaceX Falcon rocket has completed 154 consecutive flights in less than 6 years, making it the most reliable rocket today.

But to reach Musk’s goal of “up to 100 launches per year” in 2023, this faster and faster launch frequency is an inevitable trend.
