Some detailed specifications and price information for Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro series have been revealed. The latest A16 Bionic processor is equipped with 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch 120Hz high refresh rate OLED displays.
With Apple’s new iPhone 14 series scheduled to be announced in September, detailed information about the latest top-of-the-line iPhone 14 Pro Max has been revealed.
On 29, Phone Arena, a mobile professional media, reported detailed specifications and price information of the iPhone 14 Pro Max, citing a professional source. It is expected that the market price as well as performance will increase compared to the previous iPhone 13 Pro Max.
The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max feature Apple’s latest A16 Bionic processor by default. It is equipped with a 120Hz high refresh rate OLED display, and a 6.1-inch large display for the Pro and a 6.7-inch display for the Pro Max is planned.
The rear camera is a triple lens type divided into telephoto, wide-angle, and ultra-wide-angle, and it is expected that one 48 megapixel and two 12 megapixels will be used, respectively. 8GB of RAM is common, and internal storage capacity can be selected from 128GB up to 1TB.
The battery is 3200mAh for the iPhone 14 Pro and 4323mAh for the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Others include an always-on display, enhanced Face ID features, and a return to the iOS 16 operating system.
The price of the iPhone 14 Pro is $1099 and the iPhone 14 Pro Max is $1,199, which is expected to increase by $100 from the previous price. The iPhone 13 Pro series also has the same pattern as its predecessor, the iPhone 12 Pro series, which has risen by $100 each. Considering the global supply chain problems and inflation issues along with performance improvement, price increases are expected to be inevitable.
It is predicted that the design will also undergo minor changes. In particular, it seems that the design of the notch on the front will change to a punch-hole camera type.
The forecast is favorable that the product lineup will change from the current four iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max to iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max (tentative name), iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The iPhone 14 Max, which has a 6.7-inch display, replaces the iPhone 14 mini, which is not expected to sell well.
The iPhone 14 series is expected to support Wi-Fi 6E, which provides faster and more stable wireless network speeds. However, it is not yet clear whether the ’emergency satellite communication’ function that can communicate with satellites and deliver simple messages in emergency situations such as distress or isolation will be adopted.
