Two engineers have developed a T-shirt that turns into a life jacket in less than three seconds when the child falls into the water. In this way, parents will be able to breathe a sigh of relief while children are swimming.
According to statistics, 40 people die from drowning every hour in the world. This number is exactly 372 thousand people per year.
Two engineers, who set out to protect the little ones who can’t swim yet from any danger, developed this innovative clothing. This t-shirt can be worn from one and a half to six years old. The anti-suffocation T-shirt is equipped with the UML automatic trigger system, which is currently widely used in inflatable life jackets for boating and is considered the safest on the market.
After two engineers made more than 50 prototypes, they arrived at a final and patented version. On the face of it, it looks like a normal sun-proof T-shirt that you can comfortably wear all day.
However, if the wearer is in danger of drowning in the water, it transforms into a real life jacket in less than three seconds. In addition, the product is certified at the European level.
In addition, the anti-choking tee provides a buoyant force of more than 53 Newtons against a threshold of 40 Newtons required for a 30kg child and 30 Newtons for a 15kg child.
