European researchers have extracted record amounts of energy from fusion reactions, which paved the way for clean energy production by mimicking what happens at the center of stars.

The reaction reached a record amount of fusion energy in five-second intervals.
At a press conference in the United Kingdom, the value of 11 megawatts from the European jet fusion experiment was announced at the Ukaea-J1 Meeting Hall site in Culham, where key scientific results were announced.
The record was achieved at the European Jet factory, located in Culham, UK, just outside of Oxford, one of the largest and most powerful structures operating in the world.
