The new Twitter account dedicated to keeping track of the whereabouts of Russian billionaires from the air has already reached more than 360,000 subscribers.
After billionaires Elon Musk, Bill Gates or Jeff Bezos, Jack Sweeney follows the air travel of Russian billionaires. This 19-year-old American student uses programs to analyze public flight data and keeps the Twitter community informed about their air travel.
Jack Sweeney has created fifteen accounts on the social network. Launched on Sunday, February 27, Russian Oligarch Jets has already reached more than 360,000 subscribers. Among the people he follows, he follows the helicopters and planes of Roman Abramovich, the owner of the Chelsea club, the steel magnate Alexandre Abramov, and even the richest man in Russia, the rich Vladimir Potanin.
Putin travels on several planes to confuse
The young computer genius also created an account dedicated to tracking Vladimir Putin’s flights. But Jack Sweeney remembers that the Russian leader used several planes to cover his tracks, so there is no guarantee of reliable monitoring of air travel.
