A Swiss company has made an electric wheelchair that overcomes almost any obstacle. The Scewo Bro is equipped with caterpillars, height adjustable and self-balancing for climbing stairs when there is no access ramp.
A chair full of sensors
The device is equipped with sensors to detect the end of the stairs and monitor the immediate surroundings. Scewo also added two small wheels that allow the height of the seat to be adjusted, along with swivel rails. In this way, the user can raise himself and reach the shelves or high places.
The Scewo Bro can be operated with the console in the armrest or a mobile app. Backrest folds down for easy storage.
