The largest floating offshore wind farm

Located about 15 kilometers off the south east coast of Aberdeenchire and with water depths between 60 and 80 metres, the project will generate up to 218 GWh of clean electricity per year, enough to power around 55,000 Scottish homes!

It was developed by the Cobra Wind grubu responsible for the engineering, design, procurement, construction and opening of the Kincardine offshore wind farm and Kincardine Offshore Wind, a subsidiary of Pilot Offshore Renewables (POR).

ABS Offshore Kıdemli Başkan Yardımcısı Matthew Tremblay, “Bu heyecan verici proje, açık deniz yüzer rüzgar türbinlerinin potansiyelini gösteriyor ve dünya çapında sürdürülebilir enerjinin geliştirilmesinde artan bir rol oynayacaklarından eminiz” dedi.
