Normally I use my PS4 controller for playing Elden Ring. but i wonder if it's better to play with keyboard for PVP.

I think It's all about what you are most comfortable with. but I recommend using a mouse with side buttons to quick switch between consumables and weapons. It is really useful.
I play with both but for PVP I go with keyboard.
