Dead Space Remake: Release Date, Latest News and Trailers

In the developer live stream for the remake of the horror legend “Dead Space” EA’s Motive Studio gives a look behind the scenes and reveals that the graphically complex new edition will be released on January 27 2023.

If you’ve got a good 70 minutes to spare and are die-hard fans of the 2008 original, then the team’s full livestream, titled “Dead Space | Crafting the Tension,” is for you. 

It’s about lighting effects and volumetric fog, modeling the Necromorph and all sorts of aspects of art design. If you’re just here for solid info, then you can be helped: The remake will be powered by the Frostbite engine and will be released on January 27th next year, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Phillippe Ducharme, Senior Producer of Dead Space, has his say in EA’s official press release: “We at Motive have had a lot of fun developing this remake as we are really big fans of the franchise and want to give the game the respect it deserves taking this development journey.

We’re making great strides on our path to Alpha and are excited to finally announce that the game will be out next January. We can’t wait for players, old and new, to see how we do it improved the original gameplay experience in the remake to make it just as impactful for this generation.”
