Sons of the Forest: How to make a Repair Tool?

In “Sons of the Forest,” players take on the role of a survivor of a plane crash in a mysterious forest. The forest is inhabited by mutated creatures, and players must explore and scavenge for resources to survive while uncovering the secrets of the forest.

The game features a single-player campaign as well as multiplayer modes, where players can team up to survive or compete against each other. The game also includes new features such as a revamped crafting system, new weapons and tools, and improved graphics and visuals.

If you want to build a base or building in the game, one of the most important tools you will need is the Repair Tool. This tool is easy to craft. In this guide we will show you how to make a Repair tool.

Crafting Materials for Repair Tool

In order to craft a Repair tool in Sons of the Forest, players will need to have following materials:

  • 1 Rock
  • 2 Sticks
  • 1 Rope

You can find rock and stick anywhere on the map but finding a rope in the beginning of the game might be hard.

How to Combine materials?

Just similar to previous game of The Forest, the crafting system is in the inventory mat.

  • You can press “I” on your keyboard to open your inventory.
  • Now Right click on the materials to combine.
  • The materials will be added to the middle of the inventory
  • Once you add all required materials, you will hear a ring sound.
  • Finally, you will need to right click on the chrome gear to combine.

Now, you can basically left-click on the Repairing Tool on your inventory to take in your hand.

What is the use of Repair Tool?

The Repair Tool is an important element once you have a base. It will help you to restore the health of the damaged building.

If you have a damaged building, simply equip the Repair Tool and hold left click next to a damaged building. It usually only takes a few hits to repair damaged areas. It’s also possible to disable damaging structures by turning off Structure Damage in the Gameplay section of the options menu.
